A very touchy and scary subject as it should be. It's not a matter of if you'll be attacked but when. Forget all the martial arts movies; attacks never happen like that; in fact, they are up close and personal or from behind where you cannot defend yourself. So am i saying self defense classes are useless no not at all in fact they are more than helpful in up close and personal encounters. Anything you can do to defend yourself is better than nothing just do your research. I'm not here to tell you bullshit on how to defend yourself, I'm just telling you about the importance of it, how you defend yourself is up to you I'm only making you aware. But please use common sense. And don't do anything stupid. But do pay attention to your surroundings if you see something out of place or someone acting suspicious don't go there take another route thereby doing this it can save your life. Use your head think about remember brains over brond. Don't always rely on your fists think before you do. Now later on I'll put in some scenarios until then have a very safe day.
Chapter 2: Types of Attacks
Here's some scenarios more common in some situations not all:
Hit from behind with heavy blunt object
Stabbed in back
Shot in back
Choked from behind
Reverse bearhug
Head grabbed from behind
Punched in back or back of head
Kicked in the back or back of head
Gun to back or back of head
Knife to back or held to throat from behind
Grabbed from the side
Double teamed one in front blocking your path another attacks from behind
These are most common and I'll tell you the scenarios in how they happen:
Stabbed in back is usually done out of getting even or a hired hit.
Shot in back same as stabbed in back.
Choked from behind is standard mugging but can happen in a street fight when someone helps your opponent, it's also common in kidnappings and rapes.
Reverse bear hugs same as choked from behind.
Head grabbed from behind happens during a street fight.
Punched in back of head street fight.
Kicked from behind street fight.
Gun to back of head is robbery or hostage.
Knife from behind is the same as gun to back of head.
Grabbed from side happens during muggings, robberies, and rapes.

Now these are attacks from the front up close and personal.
Attack with club.
Attack with knife.
Attack with gun.
Attack with fist.
Attack with kick.
Spear charge attack.
Grabbing the legs.
Run and charge attack.
In your face making threats.
Now these happen during most street fights, muggings,and robberies. And here's the situation:
Attack with club street fight, mugging, and robbery.
Attack with gun street fight, mugging, and robbery.
Attack with fist street fight.
Attack with kick street fight.
Spear charge attack street fight.
Grabbing the legs street fight.
Run and charge attack street fight.
In your face making threats starts the street fight.
Adding to this fighting is stupid and it doesn't impress anyone and will lend you jail.
Here's some scenarios more common in some situations not all:

Punched in back or back of head
Kicked in the back or back of head

Knife held to back or the throat.
Double teamed one in front blocking your path another attacks from behind.
These are counter attacks:
Hit from behind with heavy blunt object:
This attack is a surprise attack unless you're ready it cannot be countered.
Stabbed in back:
This attack comes out of nowhere so basically there's no counter for it.
Shot in back:
This is another attack with no counter.
Choked from behind:
Several counters for this attack and they are:
Grab the balls and squeeze as hard as you can this is the easiest.
Step on the toes but if they're wearing steel toes it won't work.
Elbow the ribs use all your force to make this effective.
Bend over grab the leg make them fall turn around and step on their throat this is actually used by the military.
Stab them yes pull out your knife and stab them.
Shoot them yes pull out your gun and shoot them.
Reverse bear hug:
Several counters and they are:
Reverse headbutt and it must be done repeatedly to have an effect.
Kicking go for the knees, ribs, balls do this repeatedly.
Head grabbed from behind:
This is extremely fast and cannot be encountered.
Punched in back of back head:
Unless you see it coming it cannot be countered if you do see you can move out of the way, kick or grab but if you grab go for the legs.
Kicked in the back or back of head. Same as punched in back of head.
Gun to back or back of head:
This is where diversion and tactics come in you can yell I need to tie my shoes grab their leg and turn around and grab their throat, you can take put your knife and stab them. Just don't hesitate with any of these.
Knife held to back or the throat:
This is a keep it simple no fancy moves so kick at them repeatedly, bend over grab the legs and step on their throat if knife is at your back. If at your throat elbow the ribs repeatedly, kick at the shins repeatedly, or grab their balls this works for the other as well and it's the easiest.
Double teamed one in front blocking your path another attacks from behind:
Several counters for this kick the guy in front of you in the balls grab him swing him over to the guy behind you or stab him or shoot him right there. Now notice no kung fu or fancy moves why because this is for people who cannot fight.
Here are some more counter attacks:
Attack with club. One way to counter attack is to duck and grab the legs and step on their throat; DO NOT CATCH THE CLUB IT WILL BREAK YOUR HANDS.
Attack with knife. To counter attack this you can kick at the hand, knees, balls, and yes the face. If the opponent lunges step to the side and kick at them. If the opponent slices jump back and kick at them. Better yet for both attack them with your belt or if you have a gun just shoot them right there. The jason stab just block and kick their balls or just kick at their face; using a belt works great here too and so does a gun.
Attack with gun. This is not the time to be a badass this is life and death; diversion and tactic are critical here. To counter throw your keys or pepper spray them take their gun because they will drop it and shoot them with it.
Attack with fist. To counter attack you can duck and grab their legs and step on their throat; block or catch the punch and knee their ribs, flinch back and grab their hair and bash their face on your knee repeatedly; or attack them with a kick, knife, or gun.
Attack with kick. If the opponent is highly trained i hope you have a gun or superior knife skills if they're a punk well here goes: to counter you can jump back and kick their knees, balls or face. You can catch the leg and kick the knee breaking it when they're down step on their throat.
Spear charge attack. This attack is stupid just step out of the way and let them hit a brick wall.
Grabbing the legs. To counter this you can jump back and kick at them, or sprawl them by choking their neck.
Run and charge attack. To counter just step to the side and trip them and stomp on the back of their head repeatedly.
In your face making threats. Just keep cool if they persist headbutt them, or knee their balls.
Now you're thinking I'm all about killing but hear me out in the first place that was their plan so they get it right back at them plus they made a huge mistake messing with you plus they're scum anyway;
