I want to talk about the differences between Gibson and Epiphone electric guitars their quality, value, sound, and playability; now you hear people say Gibson is the only way all others are junk, but why is it everyone brags on Epiphone if they're junk. Now both use high quality woods and finishes, the only difference is where they're made; Gibson USA, Epiphone China, Indonesia, Korea. Gibson has standard tuning or grover tuners as does Epiphone. Gibson comes in a wide array of colours so does Epiphone. Gibson uses pickups like the 57, burstbucker, 490t and r 500t and the dirty fingers while Epiphone uses Alnico classi pros, probuckers, and 700t and r pickups; but how do they compare; is there any difference between the two; well your answer is yes and no; so what's the difference and the answer is where they're made and the price that's it. Gibson and Epiphone pickups are exactly the same the only difference is the name of the pickups that's all. Let me make it easy; if you want an investment buy a Gibson; if you want a high quality player then buy an Epiphone; they're no less of a guitar than Gibson. Me i have both and i love each one. They both have great meaning in my life
